In de TOF-studie (Three Or Five) is hier onderzoek naar gedaan. <\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">De studie werd verricht in 21 Nederlandse IVF-centra bij ruim 1200 vrouwen. Er moesten twee dagen na bevruchting tenminste vier embryo\u2019s beschikbaar zijn voor terugplaatsing. Bij de helft van de vrouwen werden de embryo\u2019s teruggeplaatst op dag drie, bij de andere helft op dag vijf. De uitkomst was de kans op een succesvolle zwangerschap van het hele IVF-traject.
